We are The Fake Fighting Company!

Who are we?

The Fake Fighting Company creates and instructs in dynamic, safe and believable stage combat for the theatre and film community. We endeavor to create an environment in which all are welcome in order for creativity, talent and collaboration to flourish.

We also like to teach people how to Fake hit each other.

“Life, as in art, is a contest of generosity.”

Aaron Preusse, Founder, FFC

Our thoughts on violence.

We here at the Fake Fighting Company take our participation in the world of staged violence very seriously. We do not support or condone violence or those that incite acts that harm others. We believe that “life, as in art, is a contest of generosity” and even though we might portray moments of cruelty we do so in support of the playwright and their story. Our teaching and choreography is created with the performers’ physical, emotional and psychological well-being in mind and permeates everything that we do.

*We strive to make your experience with us a supportive, educational and
empowering experience.*

The Fake Fighting Company, bringing out the better you!
